After Dark Joins the 2027 Dodge Durango Color Palette

Dodge announced After Dark for the HEMI-powered 2027 Durango lineup on September 3, 2026. The Stellantis release describes a dark metallic blue finish with highlights that become more visible in sunlight. This is the manufacturer's announcement date, not the date this article was published on BEYOND DODGE.

What the announcement covers

The release says the finish was available across the HEMI-powered 2027 Durango lineup when announced. It identifies GT HEMI AWD, R/T 392 and SRT Hellcat configurations, including Hellcat Jailbreak. The name of a paint color does not identify an engine, equipment package or drivetrain by itself: those details still need to be checked on the particular vehicle's order documentation.

A dated snapshot of the palette

Dodge described After Dark as the ninth exterior color at the time of the announcement. That is a historical count, not a promise that the live configurator will always show nine choices. Later additions, regional differences and ordering changes can alter what a customer sees.

Before ordering

Check the current Dodge configurator and an authorized dealer for the exact model year, market, trim and availability. The source establishes the announced finish and lineup scope; it does not establish today's delivery date for an individual order. Paint appearance also varies with lighting and display settings, so inspect a physical sample when color is important to the purchase.
